I'd just like to say....

I GOT MY P's!!!!!!!!!

WHOO HOO!!!!

About bloody time as well. I failed my first driving test due to speeding through a construction zone. Oops. Second time through I had a lady who was about 1.5m tall and I was quite concerned she couldn't physically see past my dash. Anyway, I was so bloody nervous this time that I didn't even listen to her instructions properly. She told me to do a 3 point turn and when she said "pull over" I did a kerb side stop instead. Damn.
She wasn't very happy, but she let me off that time. My 3 point turned into a 5 point turned because a car was parked in the way. ARGH!

Half way through the test I saw that she circled the "S" in my test which means I was speeding, when I clearly wasn't. All I could think was "Shit, not again"....

Anyway, I was quite agitated this time so I was pretty damn pissed. I floored it through a few intersections afterwards because I knew I'd fail. So back to Padstow RTA we went. She calmly just got out of the car and went inside. Said nothing either. I was like, "yeah she's pissed alright". Waiting in the RTA waiting room I was complaining to my mother about how the woman at the RTA marked me down for speeding when I clearly didn't speed. Anyway i said I'd never take the test again because it costed too much cash.

The woman calls me up to the counter where I brace myself for embarassment. Then she goes "Congratulations, you passed!" I was stunned. Asked her if I seriously did a few times and she was like "Yes, you passed, so sign here and here". She then comments, "you are an excellent driver but you brake so late.... I was worried that you didn't even want to brake at times". I don't think I brake late, but anyway I passed. Paid my $47 for the new license and off I went.

All I have to do now is get some insurance that covers me and freedom starts. :)

Thanks.
